Windstream Email Login, Password Recovery and Reset Assistance

Windstream, aka Windstream Holdings, Inc. and Windstream Communications, is one of the United States ' largest providers of telephone, internet and email services to rural communities.

New subscribers who have created a username for Windstream receive a free email address which is their username for Windstream, followed by @windstream.net. For instance, if your username is jane.doe, then your email address is jane.doe@windstreamnet.

Customers who use legacy email addresses prior to transfer to Windstream may log in with these older email addresses (alltel.net, ctc.net, valuenet.com, etc.).

How to log in to your Email account

Using a web browser or Mobile App to access your Windstream login account.

• To log in to the windstream.net sign on the https:/www.windstreamonline.com/pol/WinLogin.action tab. You can also go to the Windstream Email homepage, and at the top of the screen, click the Sign In link.
• When you have trouble signing into the new Windstream.net email then you may need to update your Internet Explorer version. Read all about it here.
• You should have chosen your username and password as your first Windstream email login account while installing your modem.
• Next you will see the title of the Windstream login page "Please use your online information about Windstream."
• Enter your username or email address on Windstream. If you have not yet created a username then click on the link "Register for access here" and follow the instructions on the screen.
• Type the password in.
• To sign in to your account, click the Sign In button now. You can access your email inbox once you have logged in as well as watch TV online, pay bills etc.

Different email addresses in the Windstream

As a Windstream customer you can build up to five free email addresses. Your default username and email address are used to administer your account, and you have total administrative access to all account functions. The primary account holder could establish unique usernames and email addresses for other household members. Each email address comes with its own unique inbox.

If you haven't created your own Windstream Administrative username yet, go to the Sign In page and click on the link above the form "Register for access here." Follow the instructions on the following page.

You can start adding additional usernames immediately with their individual email and mailbox when you have your administrative Windstream account created.

Follow these instructions to add a user to:

• Visit www.windstream.net
• Tap the My Account & Help button to open
• Click Add My Account
• In the Online Account Options screen, enter your email address and password and click Login
• On logging in, click the Change Usernames, Passwords, & Email Accounts link
• You will see a row for Attach Email Address on the User Name , Password, & Email Manager page. Fill in the boxes New user name and New Password. Click Connect, and connect your email address.

How to Recover a Forgotten Username or Password

Go to the Windstream email login page to retrieve either a username or password. If you forgot your username you can retrieve it by clicking the link "Forgot Username." If you forgot your password, please click on the "Forgot Password" button. Both of these links are located beneath the green button Sign In.

To get your account recovered:

• After clicking on the link, fill out the fields on the following page: User Type (select Customer), E-Mail Address, Account Number and Zip Code Billing.
• Click the Continue green button, and follow the directions on the pad.

To get your password email back:

Fill out the answers to the first and second safety question after clicking on the button. These questions are settled when your account is registered.

• Type your new password now after completing the security queries:
